Review of the Elan Yachts Dealer Meeting 2024

From October 19 to 21, dealers and partners of Elan Yachts came together for the annual Dealer Meeting. During this three-day meeting, strategies, innovations and especially teamwork were reinforced, while participants also had ample opportunity to experience the Elan E6 yachts in a competitive setting.

Day 1: Inspiring sessions and new sales models
The first day began with an inspiring presentation on content creation by Elan Yachts' marketing team, which focused on the importance of brand awareness and customer engagement. Then the Australian dealer shared their successful Yacht Share formula, a shared-ownership model that gave them access to a wider customer base. This formula was an inspiring example to the attendees as it makes all facets of yacht ownership more accessible.

Day 2: Treasure hunt and video project
On the second day, an exciting "treasure hunt" was organized. Divided into four teams, each on an Elan E6, the participants sailed to a coastal port based on assignments. These assignments provided coordinates they could use to continue their route. Once at the port, a culinary assignment awaited: each team prepared a local dish to earn extra points. Throughout the day, all teams had to record their adventures and completed tasks with video footage, which they later had to edit and compile. This video project offered a creative challenge AND earned extra points, as the final videos were judged by the organization on originality, content and editing.

Day 3: Cancelled races and final video editing
On day three, two sailing races were scheduled, but light weather conditions prevented them from taking place. This gave the teams extra time to continue editing their video footage as they sailed back. The competitive atmosphere was maintained, however, as the scored videos contributed to the scoring for the title of best team. At a closing meeting, the videos were displayed and the points announced, making for a fun and inspiring conclusion to the day.
