The Elan GT5 was launched in 2017 and its groundbreaking concept was met with rave reviews in the sailing world. Designed as a grand tourer, a term borrowed from the automotive industry, the yacht sits as a crossover between a luxury cruiser and a performance sailor.
The GT5 has a performance hull, twin rudders and a hard active 'chine'-all features designed by Humphreys Yacht Design and intended to enhance the yacht's performance and control.
Combined with a semi-deck saloon, for more interior volume, a handcrafted luxury interior and a host of luxury equipment options, this is the ultimate luxury performance cruiser in the 40- to 45-foot range.

Comfort
The Elan Design Team implemented an inverted salon layout with a forward-facing galley, this allows for optimal use of volume and for the most comfortable, innovative salon space in her length.
The galley forward offers plenty of storage space with a customizable corner that can be arranged individually for each owner. The 180-degree panoramic skylight with the window in the window, two hatches and a large central hatch ensure that the saloon is always ventilated.
The new GT5 is also the only yacht of this size to offer a separate shower room with a 3-cabin, 2-toilet layout.
Highlights
VAIL hull: the only way to prevent osmosis and guarantee uniform rigidity, lightness and safety. Elan was one of the first series yacht manufacturers to switch to Vacuum-Assisted Infusion Lamination as early as 2003. VAIL allows for the complete saturation of resin and removes human error from the process.
The dual rudder system provides finger-sensitive control, especially under incline.
The T-shaped keel lowers the center of gravity and provides more sail carrying capacity, increasing the yacht's speed and stability.

Studio F.A. Porsche's iconic design values and world-class ergonomics create a uniquely stylish, luxurious and practical living space in the GT6. The streamlined panoramic deck saloon offers stunning 180° views, and the clever inverted layout takes full advantage of the spacious hull.
The galley is located forward, just above the keel, where the yacht's movement at sea is most comfortable, with minimal tilting, pitching and rolling. This frees up space further aft for a huge full-width saloon.
A generous owner's suite with a king-size island double bed makes full use of the forepeak, and large see-through windows in each cabin offer great outside views. A wide range of layout options and configurations are available to customize the rest of the onboard accommodation, systems and storage to suit you, your crew and your style of sailing.

Modern Approach to Blue water Cruising.
The modern character of the Elan GT6 is further enriched by the layout of the Explorer's cockpit. This design places sailors closer to the water, and when weather permits, it enhances their connection with the environment.
This more involved experience is a contrast to the elevated vantage point of other , more traditional bluewater cruisers, while still offering safe and covered areas with high canopies, integrated spray hood arch and bimini.
Incorporating Elan's signature modern GT style, the Explorer brings a touch of "joie de vivre" philosophy to waters around the world.
