From October 19 to 21, 2024 Elan dealers from around the world gathered in Šibenik, Croatia, for the annual dealer meeting. This year was all about the history and vision of Elan. During this event, we had the chance to test the Elan E6 - a performance cruiser that combines innovation, speed and luxury - for ourselves in the beautiful surroundings of the Croatian coast.

A Collaboration of Top Designers and Renowned Engineers

The Elan E6 was designed by legendary yacht designer Rob Humphreys, known for his expertise in creating fast and high-performance sailing yachts. The aesthetic refinement comes from the hands of renowned Italian design firm Pininfarina, which has given the E6's lines and interior a contemporary, elegant look. Together, the contributions of Humphreys and Pininfarina form a perfect blend of functionality and style.

In addition, Gurit, a specialist in composite materials, played an essential role in the construction of the E6. Their technical knowledge and innovative materials allowed Elan to develop this performance cruiser into one of the lightest and stiffest in its class. Our sailing experience: light and smooth

At the dealer meeting, we tested the Elan E6 in light weather conditions. Although the wind was mild, it was clear that the E6 remains responsive and lively even in minimal wind input. The ergonomically designed deck layout and spacious, comfortable cockpit contributed to an enjoyable experience, where both experienced sailors and beginners could easily operate the boat and enjoy it to the fullest.
