Elan announces the new Elan SixtyFive: a groundbreaking Blue Water Performance Cruiser

In April 2025, Elan announced that its model lineup was too broad and that the company needed to review its organization and product offerings. Production of existing models was discontinued, and an ambitious project was launched to redefine Elan's future.

Today, Nov. 3, 2025, Elan officially announced its new strategy. This means that the Elan Performance (E-Line), Impression Line and GT-Line will be discontinued. Instead, Elan is moving forward with larger, advanced yachts that respond to international market trends. The first result of this strategy is the Elan SixtyFive, a 65-foot Blue Water Performance Cruiser, which will be launched in 2027.

Designed as the ultimate "ocean cruiser," the Elan SixtyFive combines comfort, safety and pure sailing experience. Some notable features include:

• Protected forward steering console: Based on IMOCA racing technology, this unique steering position provides protection from the elements and full control over sailing and navigation.
• Easy to sail with a small crew: Thanks to a clever combination of mast, rigging, deck equipment and electric winches, the boat can be sailed safely and comfortably by a single sailor or small crew, even on long oceans.
• Comfortable and thoughtful interior: A single-level layout, wide staircases and secure access to deck and shore ensure optimal livability. The boat features three well-balanced cabins and a spacious owner's suite.
• Intelligent electrical systems: Lithium storage, hybrid power generation and a central management system guarantee comfort and energy efficiency on long trips.
• Advanced autopilot system: Developed from racing experience and advanced simulations, the autopilot provides maximum safety and optimal sailing performance.
• High-tech keel: A slim, lightweight and strong keel made of HRO 774 steel increases both performance and impact resistance in the event of collisions.
